My kids absolutely adore Spongebob Squarepants and I admit that he took a bit of getting used to. He loves his snail Gary and is best pals with Patrick the Starfish. They all live in Bikini Bottom with various other characters such as jellyfish, anchovies and arch enemies such as Plankton.
He believes that Squidward the squid who lives next door is a true friend, but Squidward is happiest playing his clarinet or painting self portraits.

Spongebob Girl Toddler/Child Costume
This costume is so cute, but it is a Limited Edition so I don’t know how long it will be available.
It includes a stretchy yellow Spongebob character top, pleated brown skirt with attached belt and tie, plus white knee-high socks with blue and red stripes.
I find that girls love Spongebob just as much as boys, he is so universally appealing. I also like the fact that he has bouts of Karate with Sandy Cheeks the Squirrel, that’s Girl Power for you.
She is fantastic, an inventor who comes from Texas and plays the guitar. (You wonder where they get their ideas from!)

As you can tell, Spongebob is not just for kids! There are adults too who like to dress up in his image, take this guy for instance, you just know that wherever he is going he is certainly going to have a good time!
It is a one size fits all costume and will be the perfect comical foil to the bat and cat costumes lurking around at Halloween!
Now there are some very nice Halloween costumes available these days, but though I am drawn to the novelty of a twinkly light up vampire costume, I keep looking at the ladies Spongebob costumes as they are so much fun!
If I was a single girl then yes, the vampire costume would win, but Halloween for our family is all about having a nice, happy time and really it is a perfect occasion to embrace the outlandishness of Spongebob!
Spongebob Squarepants – Spongebabe Plus Adult Costume
This is the costume I really like, it does come in a smaller size too. It’s nice because it features a printed top instead of the foam square shape and has a faux suede pleated skirt and a pair of knee socks.
It looks a little like a school girl outfit, but I’m sure my husband won’t mind!
Spongebob is such a good character to dress the kids in at Halloween, as when they are out trick or treating, the bright yellow costume makes them easy to keep an eye on.
